Today I started my day off with a three hour Wildlife Tour. It was a beautiful morning with the sun sitting over beautiful Quadra Island. There were a few overcast areas as we got further up north but they burnt off very quickly. Jeff our guide took us up the Discovery Passage and over to Bute Inlet where the glacier runoff makes the water a crisp green color. We of course saw lots of eagles and seals; we got to play with some Dahl’s porpoises and see some very shy Harbor porpoises.
I love the feeling of the air blowing 40 km/h through my hair; it’s a much healthier way to wake up then a large double double. I was in desperate need of a hair brush when I returned to the dock but hey I could have worse problems right?
