Enrique and His Grandmother Danielle 
Upon arriving to April Point today I met Enrique and his grandmother Danielle and her friend . Travelling all the way from Comox Valley these guys take advantage of our Spring Specials and come up every year. Enrique was teaching his grandma how to play chess…Enrique won the game.
Our Wildlife Tours have had great viewings this week. Brown Bears feeding on the shorelines, Dolphins jumping and feeding and the show stopper last week was a Humpback Whale just outside of Campbell River. I was lucky enough to witness this and get photographic proof!
Our Ocean Rapids Tour today had an amazing show of Eagles feeding on Hake. Hake is a small fish that gets “knocked out” in the rapids and is pushed to the surface where it is very easy for the eagles to feed on. We’re talking hundreds of eagles all around you. It is a sight to be seen!
