Rockland Road 
Tuesday evening I had the pleasure of heading over to April Point Resort & Spa on beautiful Quadra Island. When I arrived to the dock at Painter’s Lodge to catch the free Water Shuttle I looked across the Discovery Passage and there was a rainbow shining down over April Point as if the Resort were a pot of gold. Picture Perfect. My friend Conor and I arrived to the Island within minutes and were greeted by the lovely dining room staff.
The weather was gloomy but the atmosphere was lively and cheerful in the Dining Room. This was my first time seeing Rockland Road and I think they did a wonder job.
We both started with a sushi roll, of course. After that we shared the fried chicken with bacon. For those of you who know me, this is the meal of all meals in my books. From the breaded chicken breast all the way down to the bed of creamed corn it sits on, the chef has really done an amazing job with this plate. I recommend it to any and all people that have dinner at April Point.
