Wondering around today I found lots of out of Towner’s. I met a family from Winnipeg on the helipad; they came for a wedding in town, and just had to check out April Point. I met 2 different families that had visitors from Ontario and a bride and groom to be all the way from the UK.
The Spa was really busy getting some brides and bridesmaid ready for weddings on the weekend. Speaking of weddings, our wedding coordinator, Tania, is getting married herself tomorrow under the fir trees. Tania’s brother (from the UK) is also tying the knot on Sunday. I met Tom and Linda this morning on Painter’s Dock with their morning catch. They got 2 beautiful fish they plan on cooking one of them for the family over the weekend.
The guest I was most interested in today was Keira; a six month old Husky with eye’s as blue as the sky. She didn’t really like her picture taken but I got a shot after she fell asleep in the sun.
