Retire with a Pair of Socks

Wayne and Patti spent the afternoon enjoying Wayne’s retirement gift at April Point. Their guide Doug Taylor helped them net four Chinooks and one sockeye. On top of this amazing vacation it’s a very special occasion… Wayne and Patti have been happily married for 40 years and we hope you spend another 40 together! Happy Anniversary from everyone at April Point Resort & Spa.

The Tyee Club had their first registered Tyee of the season. This trophy fish was caught by Paul McDonald very early on Wednesday morning. This is a great indication of the events to come this season. Check out the picture at http://www.tyeeclub.org/2011-catch-record.htm .

Our August Heat Derby leader is Daniel Green with a 26.4 lb. Chinook from April Point Resort & Spa. 

This week has been so eventful for fishermen and women. We’ve got a new derby leader, we have an abundance of pinks and sockeye are open until further notice. Get out there, it doesn’t get much better than this!
