Pink Salmon have flooded into the waters surrounding Painter's Lodge and April Point Resort. Every odd year is a Pink year with these salmon averaging 5-6 pounds and are a perfect fish to target with young anglers. They're a good fighting fish and taste so good on the barbeque. Because the fishing at both resorts is guided, kids have an opportunity to learn about fishing from experienced guides as well as share the experience with a parent, sibling or friend.
