Things are heating up - and not just our weather! The fishing has picked up at the bottom of the ebb tides and the cleaning table has been busy. Chinook ranging in the 10 to 20lb range have been coming in and one lucky staff member was fortunate enough to hook and land a 53lb halibut today - incredibly rare in Discovery Passage! I heard reports that yesterday's zodiac tour had a whale sighting and our recent low, low tides have brought quite a few eagles to the sandbar. ~meg~
