No nookie like a chinookie!

April Point Resort & Spa - July 2, 2006

July at April Point has started off with a bang! From Tyees to whales, summer is alive and in the air. Our unique surroundings allow our guests to experience the intriguing enviroment the west coast has to offer. Whether your fishing as the sun rises or rushing through the rapids on one of our zodiak tours, your stay here at April point will be unforgettable.

Whale watching tours have just started for the season!  We already had the pleasure of encountering quite a few orca's right here in Discovery Passage.

This seasons fishing is continuously increasing with a steady flow of salmon moving down from the north. Larger Chinook are begining to bit and our average  weight is on the rise from approximately 18lbs. Large amounts of fish are coming from the Lighthouse on a good ebb tide, so get out there and have some fun!

The weather has been so good to us the past few weeks it's been a blessing, lets hope mother nature stays on our side. Remember keeps your eyes peeled , you never know what you might see!

Hope to see all of you soon.
