April Point Resort & Spa has always been known for its great BC salmon fishing, but the resort’s dining room and sushi bar are establishing their own reputation as first class restaurants.
The meals at April Point Resort & Spa are as spectacular as the surroundings. The large dining room features ocean views from every table and outdoor dining on the wrap-around sundeck. Culinary features include taste-tempting seafood dishes, pastas, and culinary classics with an island twist.
Stunning views of Vancouver Island, the mountains and action on the waters of the Discovery Passage including cruise ships traveling between the islands, are a great compliment to any meal in the dining room.
April Point also offers a sushi bar featuring exotic Japanese cuisine. Guests will enjoy relaxing after dinner in the cozy fireside lounge in the main lodge. Dinner reservations are recommended!
Just a short water taxi ride away is Painter’s Lodge and two other Vancouver Island dining options. Legend’s Dining Room features gourmet West Coast and Continental cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. Fine wine, sumptuous sea food and fantastic desserts are all regulars on the menu. Make sure to catch Legend’s famous Sunday Brunch. It’s a magnificent spread of wonderful food and one not to be missed. The Tyee Pub at Painter’s Lodge is an excellent choice for a more casual meal of traditional pub-style food in a relaxed atmosphere.
