Spring Fling Salmon Derby

With the spring thaw comes a big salmon run right between Painter’s Lodge and April Point Resort & Spa.
Spring salmon fishing in Campbell River can really heat up and to get anglers excited we’ve created the Spring Fling salmon derby.
From May 12 to June 12, every Chinook (Spring) salmon you catch at April Point Resort & Spa is automatically entered into the derby. The angler with the biggest Chinook each day will win a prize. At the end of the derby we’ll tally up all the catches and award some huge prizes, including at trip for two to the MV Salmon Seeker.
Bonus:
Everyone who catches a Chinook during the derby is entered to win a trip for two to Canadian Princess Resort!
