April Point Marina, Quadra Island
April Point Marina is the ideal jumping off point for sailing the Discovery Islands and Desolation Sound.
April Point Marina on Quadra Island, BC, is located in the cove south of Gowlland Harbour in a quiet, secluded bay in the protected waters adjacent to the resort. Cruise through Discovery Passage before mooring at this magnificent destination.
As you enter the harbour, you will pass April Point Resort & Spa where you will see a red spar buoy. Please keep this buoy close to your starboard side (red, right, returning). The marina is located further down into the cove. Call April Point Marina on VHF Channel 66A for your docking assignment. The friendly marina staff will help you in to your slip and make sure you are comfortable.
Vessels from 15 to 150 feet can be accommodated at the marina’s 4,500 feet of dock space.
April Point Marina is a full-service marina offering 15, 30 and 50 amp power service, cable TV, water, garbage disposal, picnic areas, laundry facilities and ice.

Free transportation to the April Point Resort & Spa (a minute or two away) is available to all marina guests.
There is a free Discovery Crossing from April Point Resort & Spa to Painter’s Lodge across the Discovery Passage in Campbell River.
There is also scheduled float plane service to Seattle, transport to and pick up from the Campbell River Airport, and taxi service available on Quadra Island.
